Mark Blando will be presenting at the 19th Annual Greater Minnesota SADBOC Government Procurement Fair in Duluth, Minnesota on October 26, 2023. His session, titled “Introduction to Government Contract Law,” will provide an outline of the key concepts underlying the law of government contracts, with the goal of answering the question: why does the federal government do business so much differently than private companies do? This will include a summary of the rules on how the government chooses who it will do business with, the key terms that must always be included in those contracts, and the unique procedures for addressing any disputes that arise under those contracts.
